Terms and Privacy Policy

These terms and conditions apply between NQ Neuroquant AB, corporate registration number 556969-5462 and the users of the NeuroQuant platform and associated services. By becoming a user/customer, you accept these terms and conditions.

Users mean anyone who uses the NeuroQuant website, takes part in analyses or uses the platform.

NeuroQuant Membership Terms and Conditions

1. Membership Registration
To become a user, registration of an email address and password is required. By registering, the member agrees that he/she is a natural or legal person and that the member is over 18 years of age. It is not permitted for multiple people to share a membership.

2. Login details and password
Each user creates their own username and password and these details are personal to each individual user and it is not permitted to share login details and passwords with other people. Breach of this condition may result in immediate termination of membership.

3. Payment, cancellation and refund

3.1 NeuroQuant has three payment options for users to choose from: Basic, Premium and Corporate. Payment for subscriptions is handled by Stripe. In the case of a 7-day trial period, you will be automatically charged after the trial period. NeuroQuant does not store any credit card information. Payment for subscriptions is handled by our payment service provider Stripe.

3.2.1 Monthly subscription
Once you pay for a subscription, your membership will automatically continue from month to month until it is terminated. Unless you terminate your membership before the monthly renewal date, you agree to have the next month's subscription fee charged to your payment method (See "Termination" below). You can find information about your membership when you are logged in.

3.2.2 Annual subscription
Once you pay for a subscription, your membership will automatically continue from year to year until terminated. Unless you terminate your membership before the annual renewal date, you agree to be charged the next year's subscription fee from your payment method.

3.3 Payment methods for Monthly Subscriptions and Annual Subscriptions
You can change your payment method or subscription by logging into the Platform. If a payment cannot be charged due to the payment method having expired, insufficient funds, or otherwise, and you do not change your payment method or terminate your account, we may suspend your access to the Service until we receive a valid payment method. For some payment methods, the issuer of your payment method may charge you a foreign transaction fee or other fees. Please check with your payment method provider for more information.

3.5 Termination of subscription.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. You will continue to have access to your membership until the end of your monthly billing period. NeuroQuant does not provide refunds or credits for months that have already been started. If you cancel your subscription, your account will automatically be terminated at the end of your current billing period.

3.6 Direct payment
Direct payment (also called “Fixed cost”) means that the user pays for a fixed period of time at a fixed price. Direct payment also does not require active cancellation of the membership and the service is automatically terminated immediately after the end of the payment period. The user retains the account after the payment period has ended. The account user can choose whether he/she wants to renew the membership.

3.7 Price changes and subscription changes
We may change our subscriptions and change the price of our service. However, any price changes or changes to our subscriptions will not apply to you until 30 days after you are notified of this by email.

4. Information delivery
The Service consists of information delivered solely via the Website and Platform.

5. Intellectual property rights
All financial information and all intellectual property rights, trademarks, graphics, and layouts appearing on the website belong to NeuroQuant or NeuroQuant's data suppliers.
The user has no right to directly or indirectly download, process and analyze data from our data providers.

6. Risks with financial instruments
Investments in financial instruments are associated with financial risk and there are no guarantees that capital invested in shares and funds will be profitable or, in the worst case, will be recovered upon sale. The user is responsible for the risk and must therefore obtain knowledge of the conditions that apply to trading in such instruments and the characteristics of the instruments. That investment or other positions in financial instruments such as shares are at your own risk. NeuroQuant cannot in any way be responsible for the investment decisions that the financial information on the website may give rise to.

7. Limitations of liability
7.1 NeuroQuant only delivers financial information and technical solutions via the platform that will facilitate the user to make their own analyses. NeuroQuant does not provide advice or buy and sell recommendations for individual shares for the stock market in general or other financial instruments. The service is based on objective facts and does not contain any assumptions or buying advice. Each individual visitor or paying member makes their own assumptions and assessments and therefore NeuroQuant cannot be held responsible for the investment decisions and their consequences that the financial information on the website may give rise to.

7.2 NeuroQuant constantly works to ensure that the website and platform are correct and complete. NeuroQuant cannot be held responsible for any errors that may occur.

7.3 NeuroQuant cannot be held responsible for technical errors caused by third-party Bank Cards and Internet Banking.

8. Force Majeure
NeuroQuant is released from its obligations to fulfill this agreement regarding historical financial information and key figures when the following events cause NeuroQuant to be unable to keep the agreement: events such as war, natural disasters, industrial action in the labor market, government decisions, cost-increasing circumstances, and comparable events beyond NeuroQuant's control, which could not have been reasonably foreseen.

9. Change of Terms
NeuroQuant may make changes to these Terms or the Services from time to time. Please visit this information and check the Terms periodically. If you continue to use the Service after the changes come into effect, you agree to the change. The design of the Service itself on the Website may change without prior notice or consent.

10. Choice of law and dispute resolution
Disputes arising from the agreement between the User and NeuroQuant shall be settled in accordance with Swedish law in a general court. In applicable cases, in accordance with the rules of the Swedish National Board of Complaints, the User has the option of first turning to the Swedish National Board of Complaints to have the dispute reviewed.

11. Personal data
11.1 The User and NeuroQuant agree that the User is the data controller and NeuroQuant its data processor in respect of any personal data that NeuroQuant processes to fulfil its obligations under this Agreement. The User shall ensure that all necessary steps have been taken (and will be taken on an ongoing basis when required) to ensure that any processing of such personal data by NeuroQuant is in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the “GDPR”).

11.2 NeuroQuant needs to save data about the user in order to be able to manage membership and payments. The data that is saved is the User name, email address and the IP number that the user has at each payment. The User name and email address are needed for login and communication. The IP number is needed to comply with legal requirements regarding VAT payment to the EU (MOSS).

11.3 NeuroQuant website and databases are hosted by Amazon Web Service.

According to current personal data legislation, you have the right to receive information once per calendar year free of charge about what personal data is being processed about you, regardless of how it was collected.
